The (well-deserved, in my opinion) restraining order against LBM has been denied.
The woman who filed it had her day in court yesterday. Both she and LBM showed up. LBM brought supporters with him, people whom he'd convinced of his innocence. Apparently, that helped him make his case.
Is this the end of it? Nope.
The aggrieved woman, who'd been threatened by LBM, promptly filed an appeal. When that comes up before the judge, all the neighbors who've had unpleasant (i.e., scary, threatening, etc.) encounters with LBM are being encouraged to attend, bringing statements regarding LBM's history of erratic, obnoxious, and threatening behavior toward them.

I've been invited, but am conflicted. While I have my own experiences with LBM and I feel the woman involved in this current action is justified—I actually saw LBM meltdown at her, and it wasn't even the meltdown that prompted her filing the restraint order—I resist getting sucked into this dustup. So, I haven't made up my mind yet. And am stressed over it.

@jaboUK Thanks, but if I were in this woman's shoes, I'd sure appreciate all the support I could get. I just don't know... ::wrings hands::
