Have You Ever Attended?

Have you ever attended the Indianapolis 500 auto race? I have not, but have always thought that it would be exciting.
I have been to other auto races. Living near the RIR (Richmond International Raceway) here in Richmond and also living in North Carolina, there were many opportunities to go to the auto races.
It’s a really BIG deal when NASCAR comes to Richmond. Traffic is jammed up for miles around the raceway. Of course, it’s all over the news.
We used to go and get autographed photos of some of the drivers. My son still has several of them.
Do you watch auto racing on TV or have you ever been to any auto race in person?

Never been into auto racing. Never understood the thrill from a spectator point of view except for the gruesome spectacle of crashes.

This old post of yours was in the right hand column, so I had to answer it.. Yes, I love NASCAR. I have followed it since 2000. I went to a Bush Race in 2006 and I went to a Cup Race in 2015. Both of those races were at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. I went with my family. Both races were awesome!
