I love Stephen king books and movies. I prefer the books as they always go into such detail. If I ever get the chance to meet someone famous, he is the one I want to meet. My husband and I quite often joke by saying if Stephen Kings children were being naughty, all he would have to say to make them stop is stop it or I will tell you a story. I would have loved to have heard his bedtime stories to his children.

I absolutely love Stephen King's movies! But I as well do quite enjoy his books that he has put out as well at the same time.
The type of Stephen King novels that I enjoy would have to be are the one's that are the longest.. The reason I feel this way is due to the fact that I find in these type of books.. It really gives him time to develop the characters when the novels tend to be longer.. I've always been a big fan of his novel "It" though. And I found the movie to be quite good as well. But sometimes I find that.. When you are reading a book you can make the characters look however you'd like.. And you can visualize them within your mind while you are reading the book.. I like doing that..
Especially when you get so caught up in the book that you begin to feel like you are becoming the character yourself.. Those types of books are the one's that are amazing.. And I know Stephen King's books make me feel this way quite a lot..
I love his movies though to.. I love how each one is so very different. I really liked "Red Rose" though..
I love the characters in the movie, & how the story ends up unraveling as well. I loved "Misery" to.. I've never seen someone have such a unique idea before for a book, but for a movie to..
It was absolutely brilliant! And Kathy Bates is one of my favorite actresses & I found she played the part very well! . . As did she in "Dolores Claiborne." Definitely worth watching in my opinion..
Stephen King has always been one of my favorite authors quite honestly! . . His writing is outstanding! . . It has so much depth, & imagination I have found! . .

i'm like you...the books go so much more in depth into the character of each person, and gives you so much more information...the movies are great to watch, but i sometimes find myself still a little disappointed that it didn't go into detail the way i thought it should. Thank you so much for sharing your opinions...
