My youngest daughter is a marching band member of her school. She is one of the majorettes. Yesterday, she asked me to wake her up at 4:00 AM today, for they have a practice at 4:30 AM.
I was wondering why they have to practice at an early hour. My daughter was also complaining, but she could not do anything, but to follow her band master. They will pay fine of $1 if they cannot attend the practice.
Should I complain this to their principal or just allow this to happen again?

Yes, you're right. It's sleeping time of the kids. If this happen again, I will call the attention of the principal on this matter. My daughter is the one on the first in line.

Really? Yes, you Have good point. They were selected few. I just have to find out the valid reason behind this. I know they have their good reasons.

Well, if there is no other time slot for it maybe they didn't have a choice but to schedule it early. Besides, you don't want them to practice around noon.

Yes, that's what I also thought. They can practice at noon for they have covered courts in school. But seems not good at all.

I just thought the penalty is for them to really attend the practice. I will just let this pass but if this Happens again without informing us parents the valid reason, I have to call the attention of their principal.
