My favorite hobby is doing genealogical research and I have always seen married womans names written .......first, middle, maiden surname, married surname....... ie: Florence Elizabeth Follin Lee (my great grandmother. When I started my Facebook account I wrote my name as .......Donna Anderson Follin........ that way people that knew me before I had married would know who I was. I have seen some people put a hyphen in between the surnames. My niece got married a few months ago and she added on her married surname which is correct. Then today I noticed that she switched the names ...... first, married surname, maiden surname....... I asked her why she did that and she said because that is the way it is supposed to be. I explained to her that it is whatever name came first like both me and her mother have done on our Facebook pages, as well many of our other friends have done. I looked a few minutes later and she changed it back.
