Why do single ladies wear wedding rings and married ladies are not wearing them

One I am not talking about certain jobs wear safety a factor. Were a marry lady should take it off. Some times I see a cute lady the first thing I
Look for is to see if there a ring on their finger.
If I see no wedding ring I start taking to them
Then I find out they are married.Some single
Ladies I use to work with wear a wedding ring was like their grandma who pass away. She had a problem only married guys were asking her out. I told have the ring on the right hand .why did I not ask her out we are not right for each other.

When single guys see ladies with no ring is when we might come up and talk to a lady
if their a ring on them we do not unless we a prospecting for a MLM company and need a down line lol

@eagletrek2 I think wedding ring should not really be a basis for identifying if the lady is single or married.
As you have said there are also single ladies who wear wedding ring.

Yes they may have reason but it make it harder for single guys to find a lady to date and maybe down the road a future wife

I am engaged but rarely wear my ring because of my job. I work with various chemical and saws, drills, etc. so for me it is a safety thing and I don't want to ruin it in the chemicals.
