The international space station is only about 200 miles from the earth, and if you could drive there from earth it would take you about three hours to get there. Do you think living in space will ever be practical? Would you want to live there?

I don't think so, I don't even want to live in a high rise building, I want a place where I have a lawn and where I can garden

Living in space doesn't appeal to me either. Too artificial.

@clrumfelt i also hate the thought of supplies coming from elsewhere instead of just readily available

It would be wonderful to get there, but I think I can't live there for long.

I'm thinking it would be interesting to go sometime. Maybe go there for a vacation instead of to a beach.

If it were going to happen, it should have already. I don't think anyone has really ever been out in space like that. I think men landing on the moon is a bunch of bunk made up to keep people's minds off of what is really important.

A lot of people believe that. You're right, things happening around us every day are much more important than what's going on in space.
