what age did you move out of your parents house

I was 28 years old when I moved out of my parents house. I paid off my car while I was living with my parents and saved up and bought a townhouse.

I was 17 years old. My family moved to a different state and they let me move back to our old state and live with a friend and her parents. After graduating I moved back in with my parents though. ;)

In our country (India) we do not move out of our parents house. The girls do, of course, when they get married. It is considered sacrilege to leave your parents unless you are shifting to another city. Most will wonder if you had fallen out with them!Nowdays, the trend of moving out is catching on here too.
