Selfish People

I have this classmate that I grew a bond with. It was okay at first but then that person just started showing a side of her I was unaware of. Eventually that classmate of mine turned out to be someone I didn't expect. I had a good first impression when that person mentioned about not being picky with friends and that that person just goes with everything. And I thought that finally, I needed someone like that in my life. But after a while eventually turning out to be one of the most picky, insensitive, judgmental people I have met in my life so far. Only picking out the "famous" friends to hang out with. Would just mess round with you even if you don't do anything nor say anything. And the worst part was that every time that person asked help with answering stuff I'd find a way to help and when it came to me needing help that person would have lots of excuses until I just give up asking. And it's just sad how people turn out to be people we don't expect them to be.

Selfish selfish selfish, those people who do something just to make themselves benefit! there are so many people are like this but if you know how to choose the right friend or right person to be with then you can avoid this type of people.. I hate this type of people it makes my blood high!

Yes! And my mood just shifts from being happy to blank, just sitting there and not caring at all anymore.

Yes I've had the same experience. People you at first like turn out to be someone they're not and people I have not liked when I met them turn out later to be good friends.

I know that there is a good side of her in there but it's just so minimal that you just give up looking for it.

You know, I've learnt over time, that first impressions should never be the last impressions of anyone. The people are always prepared to make good first impressions. It is best to give every type of personality a chance, we can always change our minds later. I have a few friends who at first impressions i didn't dig at all. But when you get to know them over time, you realize there is more to any person than their first impressions....from your experience, i guess it works both ways.

It happens but it's sad when it does. Eventually people show their true colors. There will always be selfish people who only think of themselves. I am sorry you had to deal with such a person who you thought was your friend.

People do what they think can be uncomfortable for them and based on they protect some things from.

Sad as it is, the only way to stay sane is to let them be and move on.

That's what I did. I just let it go without holding on to grudges. I'll just go my own way and let them be. I know I'd find the right kind of friends soon :)
