passenger cruises are very safe - even in Arctic waters - look for cruises with lots of interesting ports to visit - @Cmackk - don't think Titanic, think Love Boat

@Cmackk it was a dreadful cheesy 70's tv series set on a cruise ship where everyone found love each voyage - the only good thing about it was the theme song

I've been on 16 cruises and it's a wonderful way to see the world. You can cruise pretty anywhere nowadays.

@Cmackk That's just like saying that you don't want to walk on the sidewalk in case someone pushes you under a bus! As you say - you probably watch too many movies.

Iam more terrified of the water I think , if ur walking by the rails and someone is having a bad day and pushes u over , I can't swim I can back float but I would be so terrified that if I hit the water I would die instantly heart attack

You can check out a forum dedicated to cruise lovers. It is known as cruisecritic. I like cruising because the modern ships have technology not available for Titanic. Even when the sea is rough, the stabilizer in the ship makes is rather stable. The room steward does the cleaning twice a day, once in the morning, and once in the late afternoon. You get to watch show free of charge, eat free of charge, and room service is free for many cruise liners. Imagine having your breakfast in the balcony and watching the sun rise. After that, you just leave all the utensils there for the room steward to clean up.
