How to transfer my Kindle Fire HD files to my PC.

I have a Windows 10 PC.
It is usually a normal activity to backup files from a tablet on your PC just to be safe in case you end up wanting to replace your Kindle after it has run out of date and / or has lost it's functionality due to age or other reasons.
