Yesterday my daughter had soccer practice. After the girls got started with practice it was too long after that they had to a top ans call practice off. Us parents could see from sitting and watching that they was some lighting in the distances and then and we where getting worried that the coach wasn't paying my attention to the fact that it was starting to thunder and lighting. Finally one of the trainer coach came and told him we where done for the day due to dangerous weather and the other coaches on the field.,

It's a trainer he isn't her coach. All the coaches have a hired trainer from the club

Glad to hear they called it off. You hear far too often about people getting struck by lightening while on the field. Ithe is scary.

With soccer they try to be as safe as possible we made it to the care before the rain or at least my daughter and nephew did.

Good, open field is always dangerous when there is lightning, they should have vacated the area when it was still far and not stop only when it's there so there is time to go to a safer place.

so they stopped it abruptly. Very disappointing. When we were practicing cricket and if the weather turns unfavourable we were disappointing a lot.

It's either that or get a bunch of 6 year old girls struck by lighting. The club went with safety and as a mommy I would agree with them I was even worried about the lighting be so close to their field.
