"Try to remember the kind of September
When life was slow and oh
so mellow.
Try to remember the kind of September
When grass was green and the grain was yellow"
Kalimera, Kalimera and a very good morning to you all. Its my Greek flashback Friday and today I am remembering a wonderful song that my dad would sing for us on a Sunday morning around this time of year.
"Try to Remember" was originally sung by Jerry Orbach in the Original Off-Broadway production of The Fantasticks but my favourite version is that of Nana Mouskouri .
A little Greek Vacation Cottage is my photo today taken on the Island of Mykonos
Just enjoy, take it easy, have a cuppa and watch this amazing rendition of a month that has so much for us to remember.

wrong date and month, but here is where MY mind went
"Remember, remember, the Fifth of November, the Gunpowder Treason and Plot. I know of no reason why the Gunpowder Treason should ever be forgot..."

@ElicBxn there is some irony there, back to the future and remember the past
