A Beautiful Shop Window / myLot

I love to photograph attractive shop windows and this is one of my favourites. The Rose & Co Apothecary is an old chemist shop situated in the village of Haworth in Yorkshire, where the Bronte family lived. Visiting the cobbled streets of Haworth always feels like stepping back in time and this shop with its glass counter and antique medicine bottles has a wonderful Victorian atmosphere. You can buy all kinds of retro goods including soaps, bath salts and other toiletries, jewellery, old postcards and clothing. Sometimes when I've been in there I've seen an absolutely huge black cat curled up in the window, which just adds to the charm. What is your favourite shop?

Wow, that is a very beautiful shop indeed . Surely if i see something like that for a shop , i would go inside and see what's inside to buy .

Oh, I've never seen one as charming as the one in the picture, so I have to say it is my favorite shop now that I've seen a photo of it... Oh, so it is no longer a chemist shop and more like a gift shop now? Pretty shop window...

I can sense something magical on this place, it's so beautiful, yes it's like stepping back on time.

The whole village is very charming and has a Victorian feel to it. There's a pub just opposite the apothecary shop which was frequented Branwell Bronte, the brother of the Bronte sisters.
