Rio Paralympic Coverage

I was reading how the Olympic Broadcasting Services will be providing live coverage of only about half the sports in the Rio Paralympics. Channel 4 has the UK TV rights but has no say in which sports are broadcast live, which means many British athletes with medal hopes won't get the coverage they deserve. I enjoy watching the Paralympics as I find it incredibly inspiring. A lot of people don't seem to like watching it, though. I don't know whether that's just because they've already had too much of the Olympics or whether they just don't see the Paralympics as being very exciting. My daughter just made the point that perhaps it would be better to hold the Paralympics before the Olympics. But I suppose then it might be just seen as a 'warm up act' to the main event, which may seem a bit patronising. On the other hand though, it might generate more interest. Will you be watching the Paralympics?
