Colorado Rockies activate from the disabled list relief pitcher Jason Motte

Carlos Collazo reports the news on Thursday the Colorado Rockies have activated fromm the 15 day disabled list right handed relief pitcher Jason Motte.
Motte was placed on the disabled list on July 27, 2016 with a rotator cuff injury to his right shoulder that sidelined him until he was activated to be part of the Rockies roster on Thursday.
Colorado Rockies manager Walt Weiss does not plan to have Motte pitcch in any high stress situations for the remainder of the current baseball season.
Motte made his debut in the Major Leagues in 2008 as a relief pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals.
Motte pitched one season with the Chicago Cubs during the 2015 Major League Baseball season before he joined the Rockies before he signed a two year, $10 million dollar contract with the Rockies before the start of the 2016 baseball season.
