Ganesh Puja brings many people together.

In India, for 10 days people worship Lord Ganesha. For Hindus is it sacred puja. Idols of Lord Ganesha are brought and after 10 days the idols are immersed in water. Fruits, flowers and sweets are offered to Lord Ganesha.

@Daljinder I've seen with what pomp and show Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated there in Maharashtra. It isn't celebrated on such a big level here in Assam but we do celebrate Ganesh Puja on a large scale at a different time of the year.

Thanks Priyaji, I also believe in Lord Ganeshji. Every year I keep the Fibre Ganesh in my house and worship it for 10 days.
