The sun is the source of life

Do you not realize that all life on earth comes from the sun? If there is no sunlight there would be no life. Certainly humans existence is possible for a short period of time if the sun were to take leave of absence as there would be a certain amount of stored food and energy. However, once these resources are depleted, life would simply not be possible. Is there any way we can survive without the sun?

@PurnaSharma Yes, without sun there can be no flow of fresh water, and no fresh air as sunlight is needed to generate oxygen from CO2, no vegetation, no food and no more living things.

More like it plays a big role in our existence but probably on its own would not be enough. We do need the sun for plants to manufacture food, for solar energy and heat and light but the Earth depends on so many other elements and the relationship of these elements inorder to keep its motors running, so to speak.

No wonder our ancestors worshiped sun as a god, the life giver, preserver and even can act as our destroyer - siva
