We did tourist stuff today. Starting at MT Rushmore, then to Cody State Park, and finally to Crazy Hourse Memorial. From Rushmore to Cody State park the roads go thru a national forest. Narrow , twisty roads, tunnels carved out of rock, and at least 2 corkscrews where first you go under a bridge then follow a 270 degree turn and go on the bridge. We saw 2 buffalo herds and 1 herd of deer. The closest we got to the buffalo was some droppings on the road. From Cody State Park to the Crazy Horse Memorial, we passed thru the town of Custer, SD. It seemed like a nice little town. For dinner, we used a gift card that our daughter bought us for Delmonicos Grill in Rapid City. We had a good meal.
