Do you know the meaning of your pet's name ?

Someone wants to offer me a freelance job online to name all his pets (about 5000 names in his pet store project) and write a description about it. I think it is really something. Only 1 name with meaning is nothing. But 5000 names with meaning or some kinds of description, it is really something. I think I need a few months to finish it . Unless I prefer to do nothing and only sit in front of my computer for a few weeks (which is not practical). So , I don't think I will take a job like this since it is too time consuming. Anyway, do you know the meaning of your pet's name ?How did you got such a name for your pet ?

my dog's name was sky,
he was siberian husky puppy
I deside to call him "sky" because his eyes were in blue color like the sky:)

One of my cats name is Harley Waffles. He had that name when we adopted him. His owner wanted to name him Harley after the motorcycle and her daughter wanted to name him Waffles after her favorite breakfast food so they decided to name him both. My other cat's name is Merle because that is the sound he makes when he meows.

My girl cat is called Lilo. We got her and her brother as kittens and the kids named them after their favourite movie at the time - Lilo & Stitch. Sadly, Stitch is no longer with us. We now have another boy cat called Charlie. I'm not sure how we chose the name. It just seemed right somehow. I've since learned Charlie is currently the most popular name for a pet.
