Be a volunteer.

Helping the homeless and less fortunate. I have in the past and would like to again sometime is volunteer at the local food bank, soup kitchen or homeless shelters. It is gratifying to know that you are making a difference in somebody's life.

Volunteer work means any work which is taken up with synchronization of body and mind. The body and mind both will accept to put forth the maximum effort. Painting on the pavement stones is a good work.It gives good look to the city. Painting on the walls of Railway Stations, on the steps of a foot-over bridges will give additional look to the platforms. People and travellers feel relaxed once they get down from the train.

I am a social worker in an city elementary school. Sometimes I wonder if I should be volunteering, I tell others how important it is all the time. However, my job is emotionally stressful and I think that I give back a lot in my day to day work.
