This is the first time I've seen pelicans near the shore of this park. Unfortunately, they decided to swim back to the middle of the lake before I had a chance to get the photo so it ended up being at a distance again.

Steve this pelican is a cool dude. He is a loner though, where is the rest of them???

There were about a dozen of them. But, the rest of the flock was too far away for a good photo.

Wow very cool. I have never seen a pelican in real life before. They are such an interesting looking bird. I hope some day to get to see one. Amazing picture. I love it!
