Sitting here watching the movie Julie & Julia. I love this movie. I guess because the theme was centered around cooking, is why I was attracted to it in the first place.
I often wanted to see if I could get through Julia Child's cookbook (Mastering The Art Of French Cooking) in a year too. However, I could not afford some of the ingrediatents. But I don't think Julie could either. Because of her daily blogging, she got a lot of the incredients sent to her in the mail, and/or the cash to buy them.
Plus...I can't afford the cookbook either. I would have to hope that I could find it in a thrift store, or something.
I have watched this movie a few times, and I still enjoy seeing it.

Me too. But when I priced it, it was $40 in the bookstore. I have to hope I can find it a thrift store one day.

@teresatrotter Amazon has it for 20, still too pricy, but better.

@MattMeng - Do very many movies from America get seen in your neck of the woods?

I will be honest, she is not my favorite actress either, but she did do a good job portraying Julia Child.
