I'm not that picky about the horror films that I watch but the more realistic they are the longer they stick with me. When I saw this under the horror section at Netflix the title of it is what stuck me in. I watched the preview and it didn't look super lame so I gave it a whirl. What would happen if you combined elements from The Blair Witch Project, Killer Klowns From Outer Space and others in the same vein. This isn't award winning but it will keep you guessing as to who is actually behind the masks. I do recommend watching this twice – there are things that you will pick up on during the second viewing.
The plot is simple and you are told what it is in the first fifteen minutes – this is where it really feels like TBW because of the choppy footage and of course the lead in text. Suffice it to say, if you have a true fear of clowns (politically correct term: coulrophobia).
Along the way to most haunted house in the United States they make their token stops at places that locals swear is the real deal. I looked up a few of the towns in Texas because the names seemed a little hokey. Rest assured there are actually places called Shallowater, Eureka and Caddo Mills. Each of these places, plus a few others have specialty attractions like zombie strippers and crazy locals that are way too territorial.
I didn't think that I'd be able to watch this the whole way through but I am glad because there are some extremely cool scenes like the zombie paintball battle. If you are looking to add some titles to your Halloween. There's some blatant violence and female nudity but nothing more than what to

Watch the trailer - the chick in the screenshot lets out with this blood curdling scream but you have to see the scene in the movie to really appreciate it
My favorite scene of the entire movie! One of my favorite horror movies in the past 10 years. No copyright intended.

@freak369 Looks kind of cool. I did get a bit of Blair Witch vibe from the camera work.

I can't stand to watch horror shows. Never liked the guts, fear, terror, that seems to come with watching these shows.
