My mother kept talking about a scary movie that she seen half of. She was wanting to watch the first half of it with me. i thought it sounded interesting so we watched it Sunday night. The scary movie we watched was Oculus. It was made in 2013. It has Karen Gillan, Brenton Thwaites, Katee Sackhoff, and Rory Cochrane in it. Big Warning 1: DO NOT SEE THIS AT NIGHT TIME. Big warning 2: It has a weird ending. Oculus is about a woman who tries to convince her brother and others that a mirror that they once owned is haunted. The brother was convicted for killing their father. And their father had killed their mother. This movie really did scared me. And it has such a weird ending that I can't get it out of my mind. I think there should be a sequel.

I'm not a big horror fan anymore. I used to be when I was younger but now it just scares me too much.

I have gone off horror movies. Most of them seem to be short on plot and long on blood spattering effects. Having said that, every now and again a decent one appears, so I may give this a chance... when it crops up on TV.
