Los Angeles Rams sign DT Michael Brockers to a three year contract extension

The Associated Press reports the news on Thursday the Los Angeles Rams have signed to a three year contract extension that will have him under contract through the 2019 football season. Brockers who was a 14th round draft choice of the then St. Louis Rams in the 2012 National Football League Draft out of Louisiana State University has been of the most valuable defensive players on the team. His salary will be for in excess of $33 million dollars with $16 million dollars guaranteed salary. The Rams have rewarded their football player who is in his fifth season in the league with a new deal since they feel he will be one of the most valuable players for the future of their team for years to come. The Rams will be hosting the Seattle Seahawks next Sunday afternoon at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles California. It will be a homecoming for Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll who was the head coach of the University of Southern California Trojans football team from 2001-2009.
