Plans For Today's Card Game Have Been Challenged

Well, I got a phone call early this morning telling me that one of our card players will not be able to make it, because her mother needs some assistance and lives out of town. So, she is headed out of town. So, we are seeking a “fourth” player. I’m making some calls and so are the others, trying to find someone who can fill the chair because we need four players for SPADES. We may end up rescheduling, but hopefully we can find someone. Another one that we invite often is also out of town this week, so she is not available either. In the meantime, we will just wait and see if we can find another person. OR we could play some card games that don’t require four players. I know several games we could play. Do you like to play cards?
