While looking for some information about state laws, I came across this and just had to share it with you. I don’t know how old this law is or if it’s still on the books. Perhaps someone in Nebraska could tell me. But, this is the most ridiculous law that I’ve heard about in a long time. Blue Hill, Nebraska supposedly has/had a law that says that no woman wearing a “hat that would scare a timid person” is allowed to eat onions in public. Say what? I’m going to do some research on this one and get back to you.

I live in Kentucky. Our governor, in his oath of office, has to swear that he's never engaged in a duel with deadly weapons. Every four years, when we have our election, it comes up in the news as to whether or not we still need our governor to swear he's never been in a duel.

Crazy it may seem but there must be reason somewhere.

I'm sure there must be a reason. I just haven't found it yet. Still looking.

That is a very strange law. We have many laws here, example cars are not suppose to park on sidewalks and do you think the people listen, no they do not. People do what they want no matter if we have laws or not. There is suppose to be no noise after 11 pm, but, people still do it because they do not care about their neighbors and do what they want. There are also people that do obey laws.
