Do most Engagements occur at Christmas?

When did your Fiance, Husband, Wife or Partner propose to you? Did you expect to get an engagement ring at Christmas time? Describe your proposal and your reaction.

I don't think so, I think most occur either at New Year's or Valentine's Day if you go by a certain holiday they are around. Though I don't think most men base their proposals around a holiday.

Valentine's Day is another day when I think many proposals are made. I'm not so sure about New Year's eve. Thanks for the reply. Are you married? How were you proposed to?

I've always heard that most engagements and marriages happen durring the month of June.

Mine wasn't based around a holiday...my husband proposed to me at Busch Gardens on the top of the Alpengeist...that is a long and fun story...I was very shocked, married less than two months later and now coming up on our nine year anniversary!
