Flavoid assembled the children as they boarded Bus 32. He made an announcement, "We are now going to Void 10, the Dream Void. It will take anywhere between 2 minutes to 2 days. I am putting you into a temporary Sleep State. When you wake up, we will be at our destination." With that, Flavoid snapped his fingers and all the children fell instantly to sleep. The actual time to reach Dream Void was a matter of seconds. Flavoid's image started to fade. As the children awakened, they were listening to a voice that was entering their minds. "Hello boys and girls. My name is Dr. Botsworth. I want to tell you a little about me and what you are about to experience. First things first, you are not in a different dimension. You are not going to be turned into Human Pets. Flavoid doesn't exist. In fact, Bus 32 doesn't exist either. Your names have not been changed. You are all 9 years old. You are part of a unique experiment. Unfortunately, the death of Mary was all too real. Even though you are connected to the same dimension, death can occur while in the dimension state. The threats of death are real. Now let me tell you what you are about to face, Void 10, the Dream Void, is the ultimate test of survival. You will experience terrifying dreams that may pit yourself against your "friends," your family, your fears, or other factors that are too numerous to mention. Once I leave you, you'll forget that I had this discussion with you. You'll still think that you are in a different dimension. You will believe that Flavoid exists. Oh yes, if you survive the Dream Void, you will return back to Earth. Your entire experience will be wiped out of your mind. Good luck. You'll need it." The voice in their minds vanished. The children looked a bit puzzled but ready to face the Dream Void. Flavoid examined the faces of each child and said, "You are about to face your greatest challenge. It can lead you to a path of greatness. To others, it can lead you to a path of death. No matter which path you take, your journey shall end after you've gone through this void. Afterwards, your new path will lead you into your role as Human Pets. Enjoy your freedom. Be wary of your fears." The next chapter shall take you into the terrifying worlds of the Dream Void.
