Mike Florio reported the news on Saturday the Minnesota Vikings will likely start Sam Bradford as their quarterback on Sunday when the Vikings host the Green Bay Packers.
Bradford was acquired by the Vikings on September 3, 2016 from the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a first round draft choice in the 2017 National Football League Draft and a conditional fourth round draft choice in the 2016 National Football League Draft.
Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer has told the media he will decide who will be his starting quarterback on Sunday.
Shaun Hill who was the starting quarterback of the Minnesota Vikings in the first regular season win over the Tennessee Titans will serve as the backup quarterback behind Bradford on Sunday evening in Minneapolis Minnesota.
Bradford was not ready to lead the team in the first week of the regular season since he had to learn the playbook of the team in short notice after he joined the team on September 3.

Sam Bamford was the name of a famous 19th century poet - first thing I thought of in seeing his name here

@arthurchappell Like I looked up the name Iris Avila I came up with a bunch of namesakes. Iris is a former beauty queen from Latin America who looks like former Miss America Suzette Charles.
