The Best Way Is To Be Neutral

I always laugh at people who get so worked up about politics.Facebook friends, well, were they really your friends? You said you love Donald Trump and half left. Not me, I stood by. I said I loved Bernie Sanders and no one left. Of course, I never announced it. Just liked his page. Such a dumb thing to hate people over. Go back to actions. Half the people have no literacy when it comes to politics. Sorry if that offends. Great people as far as actions, just not when the politics sucked them up. All talk, momma says, name calling does not hurt, but sticks and stones do. Sure, this inaccuracy puts bad people in office. Just be neutral when you tell them they are wrong. Do not be like me. They will out Trump you every time. Instead, tell them you are do it yourself and independent and you hate both sides. Let them follow you to see what you really are. Sure they are going to know what you are soon enough, but they will understand and if respectful will be respectful back. Maybe it could help save our overall society from itself.

Did people know they were really pro Hiltler back then, things that were to come,. Do people really know they are pro Trump now. The difference between Hitler and Trump is Hitler was a lot smarter. The world is aware also and red flags are everywhere. It just depends what kind of world we want to live in. So pretty sure people have no reason to be mad at one another. Most are just rebelling but all you need to do is take care of your own business and there is no worries.

@crossbones27 I think the scariest thing about Hitler is his honesty - Mein Kampf actually sets out a manifesto he followed and spells out his contempt for the Jews - the warnings were right there but his supporters were to blind to see it

It makes sense to be neutral. I would be more inclined to be distant than neutral though and can explain why. I think what you are looking at is the pitfalls of social internet not politics. Politics can be cruel. Not saying that everyone needs to get involved. No. But I think neutral is a political move itself. Better just to stay out of say office politics altogether?

You may be right and probably right about the word neutral. I am not sure if that is the right word, but have no better words. Hopefully someone will come along and correct me to a more accurate word. I will not be offended I promise. I get what you are saying and would love if we really could do that. The problem is they made it personal with 2008 and showed us what the game is all about. That is why so many are now divided and choosing sides instead of rationalizing thinking what is the better way to go. It is screw the other side when both sides seem deeply flawed. One pays better but raises the rent way to much. The other the rent is lower but pays way to low.

@crossbones27 Neutral is an okay word. Just in somethings for myself I don't wish to be neutral. They made it personal in 2008? Not sure I got that. We can always opt out of political discussions anytime.

Showing how the game is played. They rob us and then tried to blame it on us.

What your post tells me is that if you lean right, or support Trump, then the people who lean left will unfriend you - but if you lean left and supported Sanders, then the people who lean right won't unfriend you over it. That's pretty much my experience as well. I don't unfriend people over politics, I discuss it, debate it and wrangle over it, but I don't unfriend people over differences. Of course, I've been blocked by a few Clinton supporters. The answer is not that we should be afraid to speak our minds. The answer is for people to grow up and learn how to discuss issues without having complete emotional breakdowns.

I said I did not announce it and no one unfriended me. So maybe it is how you do it. And like your assessment of people need to grow up.

I just don't get into politics at all so i stay out of those conversations. But i still don't think it's right how people bash someone when they don't really know them just know by what they said etc. My boyfriend is all about politics and can talk your ear off i just get bored listening lol.

I have a few heavily conservative friends that I can get along with, even though I'm reasonably sure they're all voting for Trump.
