Baltimore Orioles activate RHP relief pitcher Darren O'Day from the disabled list

Rich Dubroff reports the news on Sunday the Baltimore Orioles have activated from the 15 day disabled list right handed relief pitcher Darren O'Day. O' Day had been placed on the 15 day disabled list on August 12 with a strained rotator cuff on his pitching shoulder. O'Day had been placed on the 15 day disabled list on June 3, 2016 with a strain of his right hamstring muscle when he returned to the team on July 24, 2016. O'Day will return to his role with the American League East Division team as their set up relief pitcher for the remainder of the current Major League Baseball season. The Orioles are currently in second place in the American League East Division standing 2.5 games behind the Boston Red Sox with a record of 82 wins and 67 losses.
