The late night’s silence,
Has sweet enchanting power.
Sometimes we feel a special peace,
Within that deepest hour.
Sometimes I have compassion,
For the loneliness you live.
I see your yearning, heart aching,
But you take and never give.
Sometimes life runs smooth,
Everyone is feeling well.
All is fine in the world when
Suddenly life becomes a living hell.
In this class we were given a limited amount of words to use. The challenge was to create a short poem using ONLY the words that were given.

Thank you. It was a very challenging class. But, at least there were always words that rhymed. We just had to figure out how to create a poem, using those words.

Thank you very much. I have dozens of longer poems and I've written a lot of Haiku also. I definitely have enough to publish a nice book. SO, I do plan to do that soon.
