Attention to MY myLot Followers: This is All About Participation

Two things I’m trying to encourage by way of myLot. Almost every week I start following new persons and new persons start following me and that makes me VERY happy.
I have been on myLot, one year as of this month and I’m really enjoying the interaction with so many different persons and I’m learning a lot of different things from many places around the world.
The two things: I’m hoping that I can get more people to listen to me singing a song on YouTube. I have this ongoing bet with my oldest son who was the one that actually put my song on YouTube. He called me yesterday, as a matter of fact, and said that I ONLY have 175 “views” of my song on YouTube, so I’m hoping that I can get some of my NEW followers to go there and listen to my song.

It’s not a video. It’s just me singing one song that was recorded one night at a karaoke bar a couple years ago. It’s not perfect. I can hear my mistakes, but it’s not too bad, considering I was just singing karaoke. The photo it shows is one that my son took when he was in Jamaica. It will only take about three minutes to listen to the song and respond. I hope you will do that for me.
The second thing: I’m trying to get more persons from myLot to participate in the POST CARD exchange, that I just got excited about recently.
You send me your address on a Private Message and I will send you a post card from my state and I will give you my address and you hopefully will send me a post card from your area. I have only 11 persons participating right now, and I have already received 3 post cards. I have mailed out NINE post cards, so far, and have two more ready to mail tomorrow.
I hope that all my followers will participate concerning BOTH requests. And I hope that I’m not violating some myLot rule with my requests. There’s nothing that I could find in the rules that would be violated with my requests.

OK keep it in mind. I had a difficult time finding post cards myself, but finally found some. I would love to have one from India.

Surely there's a bit of Patsy Cline in you. Now's the time to pick up that guitar and head on off to the Grand Ole Oprey. Loved the video.

I love Patsy Cline songs and often sang them at karaoke. I do play the guitar also. Here is a photo of me many years ago, posing with my guitar. I still have my guitar but I'm out of practice.

I still love to sing, but I have some breathing issues now. It's from an elevated diaphragm and nothing can be done about it, unfortunately

Oh, thank you so much for listening to my song. When I was young, I used to sing with live bands and in talent shows and other events. I recorded that song at the age of 70, while I still had a "decent" voice.
Now, I have some breathing problems and can't hold the notes as long, but I can still sing. I have sang on many stages in my lifetime.

I heard that there were some Post Card exchanges on line, but I haven't checked any of them out yet. I thought I would start with myLot friends first. Join us. I have 12 participating with me now and I hope there will be more who want to join in.
