I arrived in Memphis, Tennessee on October 12, 1969 (after visiting there July 4th weekend to look it over and made my decision to make the big move from the Big Apple) and spent the next 10 years there of which 9 were the happiest, most lucrative of my life and where I was to gain--no, not weight--an insight to who I had been, who I was and what I could be and would become. (More about that--and pictures, of course--in the next few parts.) I BECAME A BIG FROG IN A SMALL POND and loved every minute of it.

Wow, 1969. I was like 8 years old then. And New York wasn't what it is now. But it had to be exciting to be here then.

I am sure Memphis was quite a city at that time. Oh boy I bet you had loads of fun. Nice to see you were able to find out who you were. Probably you could shape yourself into who you wanted to be as opposed to how others wanted you to be,
