As I mentioned in a previous post, an author, Grace Sara, reached out to me on Twitter asking me to read her book and give some feedback. I told her I was happy to and finished reading the book this morning.
This 17 year-old author is wise beyond her years... and a very good writer. She explains spirituality of the mind, energy, and meditation in a book that is simple and easy to understand. A self-help book that is a must for young adult souls before they become dormant.
After reading the chapter on meditation I put the book down and made an attempt. She gives ways to focus, how to breathe, ways to get words out of your mind, to picture colours in your head. Unfortunately, I failed. I was able to get words out of my mind but that's about as far as it went. I know, I know... I need to keep practicing. Eventually it may work for me.
I gave the book 4 stars.

@parpande @HazySue I can give you the blurb from the back of the book - I read that book reviews should not include the book blurb so I didn't include it. The book is available at Amazon.com for sure because I looked at it on there.
"Awakening in the 21st Century brings into light the challenge of awakening in a spiritually dormant society, and how to healthily cope with this test. This easily comprehensible book teaches the improvement of psychic abilities, energy work, meditation, and astral projection while staying true to the basics: full spiritual awakening and self-betterment... it encourages the seeker to not be afraid of the unknown, but rather to embrace the art of not being afraid."
