Dave Holcomb reports the news on Tuesday the Miami Marlins have activated from the 60 day disabled list right handed relief pitcher Bryan Morris. Morris had been placed on the 15 day disabled list on May 26, 2016 with a lumbar disc herniation that needed surgery. The Marlins then placed Morris on the 60 day disabled list on July 1, 2016 since he was not able to return to pitch for the team at that time. Morris has a pitching record of no wins and no losses with an earned run average of 3.06 in 24 games pitched for the Marlins during the 2016 Major League Baseball season. The Marlins are currently four games out of the second wild card spot in the National League standings. Morris will likely land on his feet with another team that will be needing his services as a relief pitcher before the end of the 2016 baseball season.
