Have you heard about this new cooking product? The company claims that: 1) It is non-stick without the use of any oils, butter or spray 2) Oven safe up to 500 degrees 3) Dishwasher safe 4) Won't scratch, chip or peel 5) Dishwasher Safe 6) PFOA and PTFE free 7) Safe to use with metal utensils 8) Stay Cool Handle I have watched a few reviews of this product on YouTube with mixed results. Those that have failed the non-stick test, I feel, have been cooking at too high of a heat. Honestly, what number do you put your element on to cook an egg? Me? I put the element on level 3 to 4. In one case the reviewers used it on a barbecue. In all reviews the handle did NOT stay cool. It is a fully metal handle and easily unlikely to stay cool. Some goofy kids did what they did on the As Seen On TV commercial and ran over the pan with the wheel of a car. It actually withstood that test. Scratching and chipping is questionable. One test indicated a chip on the edge of the pan that she did not notice whether it was there before testing. Scratching with a fork showed faint indication of scratches. Instructions say to hand wash with a mild non-abrasive soap... yet it is supposed to be dishwasher safe. Over time after many washes, I'm guessing it's not so dishwasher safe. Has anyone tried this pan? It is no more costly than any other frying pan at $20 for the medium sized pan. I'd be interested to know what your results are. If you haven't used it or seen for yourself, you can type "red copper pan review" into your YouTube search engine to find many videos on this product. I'm not posting a link here because which video do I post? There are mixed reviews. What do you think?

I have seen the infomercial many times and have been meaning to look into the reviews on this. I'm very disappointed and wonder how is it that people can sell stuff based on lies? This is the main review that I focused on: I'm really glad that I didn't spend the money on this pan and thank you for the reminder that I needed to check this out.
Copper Chef cookware is infused with 100% real copper for the ultimate in heat conductivity and distribution, as well as a Cerami-Tech non-stick coating.

The one review I watched was comparing it to his Gotham pan. I've never seen commercials for either of these pans.

I think it's a copper coating.
