Better Days
I've seen 'em better,
better'n this -
days of fun,
yes, almost bliss.
Today is hot
and all too muggy.
But now it's autumn.
Drives me buggy.
Yes, I shut the A/C down -
I'm not fooling.
Stupid me,
There ain't no cooling.
Gotta cool down.
Take a shower?
Damn it all -
No water power.
Start the car.
Windows wide.
Out of fuel.
There goes my ride.
There are days
When all goes wrongly.
Today's is one.
I think so - strongly

Lol wrong all have those kinds of day when nothing works in our favor. Great poem.

@Happy2BeMe - Ms L_B - When the sweat dries off, the clothes feel better. Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow. The consolation is that, even if tomorrow is no better than is today, that means that today was not as bad as it was thought to be, and that tomorrow will not be worse than was today. We win again.

@responsiveme - Friend ARM - That was yesterday - and it never stopped dropping things onto my head until right now - and it is in the afternoon of the next day. After posting that "complaining" poem - the Internet connection failed. Just got fixed 24 hours later. -Gus-
