Ken Gurnick reports the news on Wednesday Los Angeles Dodgers left handed starting pitcher Scott Kazmir will make his next scheduled start on Friday at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles when the Colorado Rockies will be the opposing team. Kazmir has been on the 15 day disabled list with a thoracic spine inflammation since August 23, 2016. Kazmir during a rehabilitation assignment pitching for the Oklahoma City Dodgers on September 10, 2016 which could have ended his pitching performances for the remainder of the current baseball season. Kazmir was able to pitch in a simulated game on Sunday when he developed a blister on his left ring finger. However Kazmir was able to throw 35 pitches during a bullpen session on Tuesday. It is kind of risky to have Kazmir pitch on Friday when he has battling these kinds of injuries that would have sent to the sidelines another pitcher for the remainder of the current baseball season.

Who is pitching for the Dodgers this evening? Why could the rehab start on September 10 have ended his season?

I had completely forgotten about Kazmir. He was a bad signing.
