Getting cold this weekend and I can't wait!

We have a cold front coming in, I may have mentioned it before and it will drop into the 70's for a week or so. Finally, it will feel like Fall, but being Virginia, it won't last. It will likely get warm again after that..I wish summer would just die! what about you?

It is still hot here in the afternoons but it is slowly getting cooler in the morning. I am looking forward to that "gap" period we get here in north Georgia in the Fall, where it is not too hot and not too cold and we can leave the windows open and not have to turn on the air conditioner or the heater. I love not having as high of an electric bill during that pleasant weather time of year.

Hey Snowy! Yes, I cannot wait til cold time comes. I'm sick of this freaking heat all of the time being up in the 90s. LOL But, the temps won't drop down until the mid of next week. :( Which, it'll be in the mid to upper 70s also. I do too wish that summer would just go!

We are having a couple cool days here, very nice. Just 70s high. But this weekend it's supposed to get hot again. It's always back and forth like that this time of year here. It probably won't stay cool until mid or late October. I like to see summer gone. It gets so hot here. And dry.

It never stays cool unless it is Jan or Feb. Even last Christmas it was near 80. I found it demoralizing actually.

The cold front arrived here in full force last night. Yesterday we tied a record for record heat of 90 degrees. Today we won't make it out of the 60's. It's cold windy and rainy and feels more like winter than fall. Personally I like warm weather and am not looking forward to freezing temps and snow. I'm sure we will still have a little bit of warm weather yet, but I have been saying for a while now that I believe this will be a cold and wet winter for us. Although being Colorado you never know from one day to the next what the weather will bring. Have a great day and enjoy your colder weather, I will be happy to send it all to you.

Our weather here isn't quite that variable but temps can drop fairly steeply over a course of a few days
