Guys do you know what a " green building" is? Pollution, increasing garbage dump is a rising issue all over th globe. I feel discussing on this platform will help promote Green ideas.
So guys please respond, its high time we discuss, share, teach and understand what green building concept is? Again it might vary from country to country. Please let us know.

I have heard about green buildings, but I´m not sure about what it means. It seems to have to do with a building that polluted the air to mantain the temperature. But maybe that´s not it.

Dear marguicha, Green building is a concept where in the layout of the building is designed in such a way that it will consume minimum electricity. For instance, During daylight- You will receive maximum amount of light from natural source and you wont need artificial lights for illumination. Use of renewable sources, Like solar water heater, etc. is made a mandate. This is all I know. Lets see what our fellow bloggers have to say about it.

@desitunes Even in day to day life people should adopt sustainable practices such as:
1) using paper bags instead of plastic bags..
2) Segregating kitchen waste and hazardous waste.
3) broken plastic mugs, chairs etc. should be sent to recycling.
