Jesse Borek reports the news on Friday the Pittsburgh Pirates have placed right handed pitcher A J Schugel on the 60 day disabled list with an injury to his right shoulder. Schugel will be replaced on the Pirates 40 man roster by left handed relief pitcher Phil Coke. Coke was acquired by the Pirates from the New York Yankees via a trade on Thursday for cash considerations. Coke will be working during the last 10 games of the 2016 Major League Baseball season even though the Pirates are six games out of the second wild card entry in the National League pennant chase as a left handed relief pitcher specialist.

I had forgotten about Coke. Another Yank prospect that didn't do great.
