Are YOU Doing Anything to "Save the Planet?"

There are so many things that are RUINING this planet and it seems to worsen every day as we hear reports about various situations. Just recently, there was a news report about toxic and radioactive waste water draining through a sink hole in Florida and contaminating the water in the underground aquifer. This is VERY serious. It cannot be corrected. All this was supposedly caused by a fertilizer plant. Other underground aquifers are also being contaminated by “fracking” and by the burying of nuclear power plant waste among other things, such as chemical plants and other industries. What will the earth offer your great grandchildren? Are you concerned for your descendants? Some scientists believe that we have passed the point of no return, that no matter what man does at this point, the earth is already ruined beyond repair. What do you think?

The first thing people need is hope then action.

Yes, it takes ACTION, but I think that no matter what humans do at this point, it's too late.

I have gone completely solar. I have 2 large solar panels that gives me enough electricity 24/7. I have no more electric Bills. I also started homesteading and raising my own food. I have vegetables and fruits in my backyard. I have Hens to provide me eggs, Rabbits to provide me manure and meat and I also started growing mushrooms using old news paper. Grocery produce harms nature because they were mass produced that's why I raise my own food now. I also composts all of my biodegradable waste.

Even now, I believe, with efforts from all humanity, the damage can be repaired.

However, the problem is that humans are not making ENOUGH effort. Some are trying, but most are not.

Not doing anything is more than saving a planet. But unfortunately, somebody or the other will do something without remaining quiet.

There was the movie. Erin Brokowich...with Julia Roberts on this real life theme. We need to simple things at our own personal level...reduce, reuse and recycle as they tell us...but not only know..do

I saw the movie "Erin Brokovich" It was about industry pollution causing illnesses. That was based on a true story and this type of pollution is going on in many places. "Wall-E" is an animated movie that is about what is happening to the earth also. Have you seen that movie?
