Last night my man and his son came over about 9 pm. They were petsitting my mans sisters dog so they brought him too.
My cat sat for at least an hour not moving a muscle except turning her head to watch as the dog paced the house.She had the most rotten irritated look on her face it was so funny. She slept up under my daughters bed last night.
The dog is a boxer and german shephard mix. He was very sweet. My daughter really liked him. He kept coming up to me with his stinky breath and lickng me lol. I pet him but really just am not much of a dog person.

Sounds like a nice breed. I have never seen a mix of the two. Poor kitty wasn't impressed though.

I am not much of a dog person either, but glad the dog was sweet even with his stinky breath

Yes lol if it has not been sweet and bothered my cat I wouldn't have let it come to my house. I thought my son would be really excited but he wouldn't even touch the dog. He seems to have always been a little scared of them over the years. My daughter loved it though.

@infatuatedbby I am pretty nervous of them now after so many times being bit for doing nothing but existing.

Yea she was very irritated but at least she didn't swat at the dog or hiss at him. I don't think she had ever seen a dog before.

I'm more a cat person, too. And now I've just got birds. I would definitely have a cat again someday, but dogs are a lot to take on.
