I do at times get lost in my own thoughts. I don't do it a lot but when I do it is a happy place for me.

You should! Its very productive when you take time for yourself to sort through your wants and desires! I know it helps me relieve stress

For some, it gives inspiration but for many, it develops laziness.

I used to day dream a lot. I guess my visualization skills isn't good so I rarely day dream. I would have to agree day dreaming gives you hope and happiness. And it's a way to manifest things in our life.

Sometimes I day dream. Specially when I am in class or doing something that I don't want to be doing.

it happens in steps for me....first i see or read something, then i start talking to myself about it like a crazy person, then my mind drifts off ...and the day dreaming starts. When i get back from it i really need to try hard to focus on what i was doing before...i drifted.
