My Grateful Post

I know it seems like an age since I last posted a grateful post. It's not because I don't have anything to be grateful for, on the contrary, I have a lot to be grateful for. These past couple months have taught me a very valuable lesson, a lesson in faith. For a couple years now I was basically whining about my circumstances, wondering why I was always on the losing end of financial blessings. I fought to keep something God wanted me to give up. It wasn't until I gave up that God started moving in my life and moving so fast I couldn't come up for air it seemed. Something new was happening on a daily basis, or so it seemed. I've asked for years to have my faith increased, well God answered my prayer, and increased my faith in ways that went beyond anything I could ask or think. I used to tell myself I had a good imagination, but guess what, even I don't have the kind of imagination that is God sized. God took me from total poverty without any income whatsoever, from losing my home, to having a home and the finances to take care of myself. I have everything because I have the one thing I asked for most - faith. I no longer doubt because I know God will come through for me. Oh I know there will be hard days ahead. I'm at a new level in my walk with God, and with a new level, comes a new devil, as the saying goes. More obstacles to face, more of Satan's schemes to overcome, and more of myself to give away to God's control. Life is a journey of faith, hope, and love. You really can't have one without the other two. I could not take this journey without my family, primarily my son, also my daughter, and at times my older son. I also had my blogging family who has been with me through two sites now. Support from my online friends is just as valuable as that from my family. I want to thank all my friends here for the invaluable friendship I gained from knowing you and interacting with you. You helped keep my faith burning when it was ebbing low. Your prayers helped me in ways I cannot express. You are true friends, even if you might not think so. Thank you. Thanks for reading. Proverbs 18:24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. (KJV)

What a great testimony. We have a great God. Thinking about it I have not written a grateful post here ever. I am also grateful to God as well. He has brought us safe thus far and will bring us safely home.

Sometimes God helps you and you do not realize it at first. When my husband and I wanted a house we found exactly what we wanted. A corner house, big bedrooms, a garage and front porch with a small yard. Move in ready. No repairs. When we met each other everything feel in place and we got married. God did all that for us and it all worked out.

Yes that's true. That's when we need faith to see us through to God's blessings.

You won't regret it. Be aware though that Satan will do everything he can to stop your blessing.

I'm glad you're faith has helped you....and you have grown and got a new reveleation... like you said... we often limit God ..because of our very limited imagination... one of my favourite scriptures is ... all things are possible to him who believes...

It's hard not to limit God because we are limited. I'm learning to let God be limitless.

God knows pretty well how to take care of his Children? He knows where to take and how to take in . We need not worry. He will do it as per well designed computer programme
