As the title goes - with the many types and forms of social media around nowadays, especially Facebook, do anyone of you still blog? Now even blogs have somewhat evolved into vlog & things like that. I have just revived my blog a few months back though. Yes it's the same one I shared at my profile: tzekaiong.blogspot.my/ Somehow I still find old school blogs still have its purpose & worth the time maintaining it. So how about you guys? Do you still blog?

@zweeb82 I'm addicted to this site... Heard about the dramas in Facebook, but I understand it can also be useful to most of its users...

@sishy7 Well, good or bad, it all depends on the user as the tool itself is neutral and side neither way. Shhh...don't tell anyone, this site can be very addictive right? I wonder what kind of content they mix in with

Yes, I do. I have two law-related blogs on blogspot. Been maintaining both since 2009 and 2011, respectively.

Hi! I do love to blog even when I was still a student. The only problem is on maintaining it. I think I blogged for 2 or 3 times but all failed. I couldn't go back to them because I already forgot my information to log in. Now, I started again for another blog. But this time around, I am making sure that I can maintain it. I paid for domain and hosting so there is really a need to maintain it.

Lol!~ Some how when we pay it's different!~ Yeah, starting a blog is easy but maintaining it takes effort. And speaking about that, I din't even have a posting for the month of October, lol!~ Well, I guess it's the same in life - anything and everything takes commitment.

@annierose You can check out ny blog and comment there. You can leave your link there as well. At least we can generate extra traffic by doing that. I mean however good a blog without people reading it, it will be a waste right? You can check out my blog. The link is as below: www.tzekaiong.blogspot.my

@zweeb82 I am doing my best to post at least once a month. But I think the best way if I want to monetize my blog is to publish one article even once a week. Writing is a skill. It is quite tough for me. On the other hand, since it is a skill it requires discipline.

Well, I love to write as well. At least blogging one can have more privacy, in the sense that we don't have to expose too much if we don't want to compared to vlogging but then like you said, something that is new can be fun & refreshing once in a while. On the video editing part, it will take a little extra time & expertise though whereas blogging is just more straight forward

@Bluedoll You should try it out. You can still retain your privacy if you want. You can always choose not to reveal your face / identity

I've considered vlogging. As I understand it you can create channels. I've seen people put up some really cool and sometimes useful videos. I guess I'm just shy about doing something like that. Never know though might want to go that route someday.

I think a lot of bloggers have cut down their postings with the rise of social media like facebook & so on. And yes, not to mention with sites/forums like myLot, postings on blogs would be "occasional" compared to the once high activity like a few postings per day
