The counter is now ticking faster / myLot

I remembered when I first started off in myLot, the counter beside one's username/user ID would ony move if we respond to a discussion..if my recollection is correct.If we reply to a response, then back & forth and the reply thread gets longer, I don't think the counter will moe compared to now where the counter will increase whenever we type anything, even starting a discussion where we didn't have that in the earlier days

Yes. this is all some kind of development in the IT. When the Cell phone was introduced people having a heavy pocket were affording for it. Though they do not know how to use and though they do not in need of it it was there with them as a status symbol. For writing a small MODISTRUCT command the IT people charged Rs.700/- from the Govt.,

It seems to be only likes which don't show in the total.

Yup, that's true.The counter ticking is another form of encouragement as well. Those days were like "I thought I was very active but how come the counter doesn't seem to be moving"
